Overview

Independent project originally made for the final project at the USC Summer Programs.

  • Was a short demo, but after two years, became fully complete with original art and level design.
  • A 2D action platformer that has the player advancing through multiple worlds in a linear fashion.
  • Designed in GameMaker
  • Main gimmick centers around dynamic character swapping

Main Features

  • Each character has their own unique skills and physical traits.
  • Different jump heights and walking speeds.
  • Specific actions each character can do (Dashing, shooting projectiles)

Platform Types

  • Allow the player to pass through them
  • Move up/down or side to side
  • Destroy upon using a move
  • Destroy upon landing on it while as one character
  • Platforms that appear/disappear when hitting a switch
